Emmett loves cougars. He talks a lot about how powerful they are,how they can jump, and how they can be so sneaky (camouflaged and quiet). Whenever we go for walks he loves to pretend to be a cougar (which really annoys his sister who likes to be a deer).
He loves to go outside and explore. We have a fox den in our backyard that he likes to go up and look at He also likes to find out about different animals homes (like pack rats and chipmunks). He likes to look at things he finds and try to figure out what happened. His favorite time was when we saw cougar or bob cat tracks and tracks of a smaller animal that eventually disappeared. When we are back in the Midwest he LOVES digging up worms and slugs. The theme for his birthday this year is slug.
