What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreThey love being active and learning as they go. My child wants to learn from doing not just sitting and reading a book. They enjoy seeing what they can find on a hike and then learning more about it, creating this self led type learning. They enjoy being a Jr Ranger and learning the specifics of rock formations, history, animals, plants native to that land or area that we are travelling in.
Their favorite animal is a Panda because it looks cuddly. Any animal that is soft and looks like something they can hold is what they are drawn too although they love all animals especially when seeing them in the wild.
Their favorite outdoor activity is probably swimming. They have enjoyed hikes that provide opportunities to climb through a cave or see a waterfall. They’ve enjoyed rope swinging over water and checking out rock formations and natural animal habitats. They play soccer and bike. The outdoors brings happiness and energy.
