Start Their AdventureHe loves exploring everything from rainforests to mountains. He always enjoys going outside no matter the weather. He especially loves reptiles and insects, even when they are extremely hostile. He seems to be especially attracted to deserts. He loves the scorpions, the ants, the tarantulas, and the rattlesnakes, and the cacti. Desert seems like his number one spot to go on a vacation.
Overall, Emery loves all animals, but his favorite would have to be the leaf cutter ant. They are ants that live in Central and South America, as well as Mexico and the SouthWest United States. They snip the leaves off of trees to grow Leucoagaricus gongylophorus and bacteria to cultivate a fungal garden that degrades hard-to-break-down plant material. They then gorge themselves on this hard earned fungi. Another cool fact about them is when they're under attack, they block off their burrow.
Bekeeping would have to be his favorite outdoor activity. His dad does it with him, and he finds it extremely fun because it causes an adrenaline rush, along with how he can be around insects. He also loves the delicious honey they produce. It is also a great time to bond with his father. The main reason would have to be because he loves insects, big and small, nice or mean. He enjoys feeding the bees too. Overall, beekeeping has to be Emery's favorite activity.
