Emery has a special passion for rescuing bugs and worms that he finds in need. When he spots an injured worm or a bug in our pool, he has to find or make a new home for them. Emery’s compassion for bugs extends to plants in our garden. He enjoys watering them and sneaking a few cherry tomatoes along the way!
Emery’s favorite animal is a little brown bunny, he named Borsha, that visits our backyard. He loves when I pick him up and put him on the kitchen counter so he can watch Borsha nibble on our backyard garden.
Playing in rain puddles, especially muddy ones is another source of joy for Emery. While many adults might overlook these simple pleasures, Emery embraces them wholeheartedly. He even has dedicated play clothes for just such adventures because getting dirty is just par for the course. His family loves seeing Emery come to life in a muddy puddle and experiencing the joy he finds in nature’s simplest gifts.
