I love nature because it’s like a big, beautiful playground made by the Earth just for us. Trees give us air to breathe and places to climb. Flowers smell amazing and look like they’re painted by magic. I love listening to birds sing in the morning—they sound like tiny musicians.
My favorite animal is the American tree frog because they are small, cute, and really good at hiding! They can climb trees and walls like little superheroes. I think it’s so cool how they stick to things with their tiny toes. Here are some awesome facts about them: They can change color from green to gray to blend in with leaves or tree bark! I like them because they’re peaceful and help eat bugs like mosquitoes. Tree frogs are the coolest!
I did a solo nature scavenger hunt. I explored a local trail and searched for things like pinecones, animal tracks, and different leaves. I also picked up litter to help keep the area clean. I took notes and drew pictures of what I found, like a bird’s feather and a cool-looking mushroom. I learned to observe quietly and respect wildlife. It was fun, peaceful, and made me feel like a real ranger exploring and protecting nature!
