Receive Text UpdatesElliott has such a beautiful understanding of nature - animals, plants, insects, birds, weather; but his passion truly is animals and that’s his absolute favorite thing. While other kids are watching cartoons, he is watching YouTube videos about real life animals to learn more and more facts about them. His preschool teacher even brought him a book to gift him about safari animals because it is all he wants to talk about. We hope his passion continues to grow because we really love to fuel it!
Manatees! There are a lot of cool facts about manatees: They are slow swimmers but swim up to 50 miles per day. They are herbivores and often called “sea cows” because of their diet. They are very gentle creatures and have an incredible memory and can actually remember certain sounds and faces! They are also cousins of the elephant, isn’t that awesome? Elliott has a toy manatee set with a mommy and calf. Update - he just told the pediatrician his favorite animal is a Platypus now….can’t keep up!
Elliott loves everything about being outside, and I’m not just saying that. He loves animals, bugs, gardening, yard work, hikes, swimming, fishing, camping, playing, etc. Ever since he was a tiny baby, it was hard to get him back inside the house. No matter the season or the weather, he has an agenda outside. Playing in the snow, exploring the beach, jumping in rain puddles, planting in the vegetable garden, riding bikes, studying bird nests in our yard, you name it - Elliott loves it all!!
