Receive Text UpdatesIn Elliot’s words (age 5): I love exploring and learning about nature. Today I saw new mushrooms and learned about them. I have also held snakes like a ringneck snake. I dig all the time and find worms, crawdads, lizards, frogs, and even Mr. Skinny Legs. Mr. Skinny Legs is a spider and they don’t bite.
In Elliot’s words (age 5): I love fish. I love catching them. Every fish I catch I put them in my pond. I love the colors on them. I have 3 fish tanks in my house. My favorite fish is my flower horn cichlid named Tulip. Tulip tries to bite me and my sister when I put my face to the glass.
In Elliot’s words (age 5): My favorite thing to do outside is fishing. I go to my pond, find worms, and I put the worm on my hook to use them as bait. I cast my line into my pond and reel it in to the shallow end. And I catch baby and big fish! When I’m done looking at the fish I put them back in the water. Sometimes I just feed the fish with fish food. I love fishing because the fish are so cool. One time I caught a fish with my net in a ditch. That’s how good I am!
