There isn’t anything that she doesn’t love about nature. Since she could talk she has been her own scientist/biologist, learning about earth systems, everything she can about animals and doing her own research and experiments. She really loves ecosystems and how they interact with each other.
Ellery’s favorite animal is the cheetah. Ellery says, “I love how they have adapted to run at higher speeds than the average animal. They are the fastest land animal on the planet. Once I was able to watch a cheetah run at top speed at the Jack Hanna zoo in Ohio. It was amazing!”
Beekeeping is her favorite outdoor activity. Ellery says, “I like being able to help a declining species repopulate. I have learned so much about the amazing creature they are and how they work. Even though I have been stung, I love beekeeping. I am working on an experiment with my bees and honey production to help my mom with her breast cancer treatment.”
