Receive Text UpdatesNature is always changing. Watching the seasons change is always a fun way to discover the outdoors. Ella likes to walk different parks and check out various natural areas like water ways, woods, beaches, etc. She likes to be on the move and being outdoors definitely allows her to see new things pop up.
Ella absolutely LOVES snakes, especially Western Hognoses. She thinks they're so cute and likes how they can be so dramatic. Watching a hognose snake play dead, always makes her giggle and calls them drama queens. Each snake is one of a kind. Even as a stroller riding toddler, Ella wanted to spend every minute she could in the Reptile House at the Columbus Zoo. At first, we assumed it was because she liked the air conditioning but soon we realized it was the start of a facination.
Ella loves to search for little natural treasurers outdoors like tiny pinecorns, leaves and bugs. From time to time she'll bring her digital microscope out to get a better look at all of the fine details. Living near a large dam has allowed her to check out water as well as land treasures. She has even built a small bug sanctuary in the front yard to give them a safe place live.
