For Eli nature is like a giant storybook—every rustle or ripple has something to teach me. He is constantly learning. And growing from all that nature has to offer..We learned how to watch birds and listen for frogs and all in the name of conservation and education.
Turtles, for sure. Eli used to tell they brought him peace. And I get it they’re chill, patient, and strong without needing to be loud. Not to mention they have huge connections to history and folklore. They remind me of Eli.
