Edith's happy place is outdoors, the woods especially, finding creatures in their natural habitat and learning about them.

Searching for wild animals. Edie could spend all day outside. We are fortunate to live near the woods, so whenever we can we get her in the trees to walk or sit and listen. She loves the quiet excitement of looking under rocks or in streams and puddles; her face truly lights up when she finds bugs, toads, worms, and any little creature she can hold and watch.
Bugs. Edie especially loves the little box elder beetles that have just come out, but any bug will do. She will carefully hold a ladybug and watch it crawling on her hand as long as it will stay.
Laying on her back in the woods and listening to the forest sounds. No matter the weather, she just wants to be outside soaking in that tranquility.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
