Edison is a homeschool kiddo who spends his days outside learning, at the zoo or aquarium. He has vast knowledge of dinosaurs and animals.

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreEdison loves feeling the grass under his feet, digging in the mud, and discovering creatures and critters wherever he goes. As a homeschooler, he often learns outside in the sunshine, filling his pockets with toads and his mind with endless questions about nature, animals, and beyond. Fishing, hiking and camping. A proud zoo and aquarium member, he also enjoys creating little habitats for the bugs and critters he finds, always nurturing his wild curiosity and love for the natural world.
Currently his favorite animal is a toad. We recently had a lot of rain which brought many toads into our yard. His favorite animal changes almost every week. When I asked him what his favorite animal is he responded “I love all of them”
Edison’s favorite outdoor activity is camping. He finds sleeping outdoors amusing and fun. He loves to spend the day hiking and spend the night studying the stars. His 5th birthday party this May is park ranger/camping themed. He’s planned a nature scavenger hunt for him and his friends to do together. His one birthday request was a new compass.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
