Learn moreDresden’s totally in love with nature; the way leaves rustle like they’re talking to him, the rivers catch the sunlight just so, and every animal’s got its own little story. He picks wildflowers for me nearly every time we go outside. I have loads of photos of him handing me hand-made bouquets from the wild. That gentle heart and crazy curiosity of his make every trip outside a big adventure, like he’s uncovering the world’s secrets, and it makes my heart burst watching him.
This will be the only time you read this: Pangolin. Dresden loves the way these guys look. He says they remind him of what dragons might look like. Plus, “they eat millions of ants, which is good because ant bites hurt.”
Dresden’s favorite thing is wandering the woods with me, his blue eyes catching every flicker of light through the trees, that sweet smile warming my heart. His gentle soul loves kneeling to watch a beetle march by or pointing out a bird’s nest, and his wild curiosity turns every trail into a treasure hunt, maybe even for a pangolin! :) Those hikes feel like our special time, with Dresden chattering about nature’s wonders, making memories I’ll cherish forever.
