A walking encyclopedia on animals, rocks, gems, and fossils, he enjoys safaris, hikes, and exploring places like Huntley Meadows, The Outdoor Lab and Calvert Cliffs. He is mindful and protective of nature, an avid gardener growing corn, melons, cucumbers, cotton, herbs, and more, and is diving into nature photography. Dhilan dreams of becoming a National Geographic photographer or a wildlife park ranger.
"The peregrine falcon off course! It is the fastest animal on our planet, flying 240 miles per hour at a diving speed. It is found on every continent except Antarctica." He has been very fortunate to hold a peregrine falcon and have it fly off his head!
His favorite activity is going on safari to spot wild animals and hiking to look for fossil, gems and study rocks. So far, in his adventures he has found amethyst, ammonite, sharks' teeth, sand dollar fossils, snake's skin, rare sea shells. Our family is in the process of becoming short term small animal fosters.
