Finding tracks, antlers, bones, feathers, cool looking rocks and seeing animals in their habitat are just some of Dennis' favorite things about nature. Climbing trees, making forts out of branches, setting up his trail cameras to figure out which animals are passing through the woods, playing in the creek to find crayfish and fishing a few other ways that Dennis spends his time while out in nature.
Dennis' favorite animal is the White Tailed Deer. He has found numerous anter sheds, tree scrapes and tracks that get him super motivated to find out as much about them as he can! He also love Moose and Elk but since we don't have them in our area, he settles for reading about them as much as possible so that one day he can visit them in their habit and see them first hand.
Dennis' favorite outdoor activity is walking through the woods! Out there he can find so many interesting things because on every walk he finds different, interesting things. For everything he finds, he will investigate and try to learn as much about it as possible. He has a ton of amazing stories of things he's found or saw while just walking through the woods.
