Dayne, 4, loves bug hunting above all. He spends hours digging through dirt, searching for beetles, worms, and roly-polies. He’s fascinated by how they move and where they hide. But his next favorite thing? “Nature peeing”—his fun term for when he goes potty outdoors. Whether squatting by a tree or spotting scat on the trail, he feels connected to the world around him. Bugs and the great outdoors are his playground, fueling his curiosity and love for nature.
Dayne, 4, loves owls and bobcats. He’s fascinated by owls because they sleep during the day, just like he does sometimes. Bobcats, on the other hand, are his favorites for their hunting skills and powerful pouncing—he thinks they’re like him and his brother when they wrestle. Watching them leap and chase reminds him of the fun he has with his sibling. Dayne admires the way these animals move, their stealth, and how they’re always in action, just like his own playful energy.
Bug hunting is by far Dayne's favorite outdoor activity. He loves finding them anywhere—whether it’s in the backyard, along hiking trails, or at the beach. Dayne’s curiosity knows no bounds as he digs through leaves, rocks, and dirt, searching for beetles, ants, and other critters. He’s fascinated by how bugs move, hide, and interact with the world around them. Every new discovery excites him, and his joy comes from the endless possibilities of what he might find next in nature’s little world.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
