My son loves that nature is full of so many different kinds of places—mountains, rivers, waterfalls, cliffs, beaches, and more. He’s fascinated by how each one feels different and gives him something new to explore. Whether he’s running along a trail, climbing rocks, or splashing in water, he’s happiest when he’s outside using all his senses. Nature, to him, is the best playground there is!
My son’s favorite animal is fish. He’s fascinated by how they move so smoothly through the water, like they're dancing. He loves watching their shiny scales and all the different colors and shapes they come in. Whether it’s in a stream, the ocean, or an aquarium, seeing fish makes him feel calm, curious, and excited all at once. To him, fish are like little treasures swimming through nature.
When I asked Dallas this question he responded with camping. He said he loves that he gets to spend all day and all night outside. The camp fire was also mentioned as it brings us all together at night to laugh, share stories, and eat yummy food. I think Dallas really appreciates the Diversity and Wonder the whole camping experience offers. He gets to meet new people and see some cool little critters like chipmunks just about every time!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
