What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreCora loves being in the forest because it has lots of animals, especially birds, it smells good and gives us oxygen. She loves finding trees to climb because it gets her up higher and she can see which birds are singing. She also loves looking for huckleberries, thimbleberries and morel mushrooms.
Cora’s favorite animal is a red fox because it can do many things. It can pounce and play, it is fast, smart and sneaky. It is also very cute and makes lots of different sounds.
Cora really likes climbing trees because it makes her feel like a part of the tree. When she is up high she likes looking at the clouds and trying to figure out what they look like. In the winter time she really likes skiing because she likes going fast down the mountain.
