This farm boy was born a nature enthusiast. He always has some type of critter in his hand, just moments after stepping foot outside!

Receive Text UpdatesConnor loves observing animals in their natural habitats. He’s always the first to spot a new bird’s nest or a sneaky squirrel at the feeder. If it were up to him, he’d build a monkey habitat in the backyard! Since that’s not possible, he finds other ways to help—like caring for foster kittens and bringing injured wildlife, like a pair of raccoon kits he recently found, to rehab centers.
Connor’s favorite animal is the bat! Although he’s fascinated by all animals, bats have recently swooped into the top spot. Connor is amazed by how they sleep upside down and is especially drawn to their ability to fly—something he wishes he could do himself! His curiosity goes beyond books: we’re currently building a bat house at home so he can observe them up close and learn more about these incredible creatures. He loves the idea of helping give bats a safe place to live!
Connor’s favorite outdoor activity is going on lizard and bug adventures! He follows them up trees, checks under gutters, and carefully catches little critters to observe them up close in his enclosure before gently returning them to their home. It’s all part of his mission to learn as much as he can about the tiny creatures that share his world. When he’s not on a lizard hunt, Connor loves helping care for the many animals on our farm—especially the chickens!
