Start Their Adventure
Cole loves the unexpectedness- finding a weird mushroom to look at with his magnifying glass, seeing frog eggs in curly spirals in a deep puddle, discovering the perfect rock to build a fort against. He loves to be out exploring with our family and learning new things about the world and ourselves.
His sister (he says he's kidding). He really loves otters- we have a pair in our local zoo and he loves to watch them frolic and spin in the water. Mostly he's a huge fan of amphibians though!
Right now, soccer! In the winter, snowboarding and sledding (especially when there is a mini fire pit to keep warm between runs), in the summer, swimming in swimming holes around Maryland and in our wooded-neighborhood pool (also a great place to find frogs and snakes). In Fall, we love biking as a family and making lots of stops to explore (he especially loves to jump on rocks in the Gunpowder River when we bike down the path next to it).
