Receive Text UpdatesMy child is mesmerized by the symphony of nature,especially how animals communicate. He’ll stop mid-hike just to listen to birds singing "together," as he put it. His face lights up describing how animals move and interact, almost as if he’s having personal conversations with each woodland creature we encounter. At bedtime, he often mimic animal calls he’s heard that day, telling me l stories about what he think the animals were "saying" to each other. Nature's language speaks directly to his ❤️
My son's heart belongs to cheetahs because of their incredible speed. He's mesmerized watching them run, often saying "they're like lightning with spots!" He studies every video he can find of their graceful sprints and practices his own "cheetah run" in the backyard. He constantly tells me he's going to run that fast someday. Beyond their speed, he thinks they're adorable with their spotted coats and tear-mark face stripes.
My son loves to do outdoor scavenger hunts! He loves the thrill of searching for treasures in nature, spotting animal tracks, identifying unusual plants, or finding perfectly shaped rocks. He has a nature journal where he sketches his discoveries and keeps a running tally of everything he's found. The combination of exploration and challenge keeps him engaged for hours. What impresses me most is how these hunts have sharpened his observation skills.
