What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreNature is his happy place. Coen is Neuro diverse and has a medical condition called PANDAS. Being in nature is one of the ways he calms his immune system and regulates it. He loves to learn about his surroundings and explore them through sensory input. In short, he loves everything about nature because it recharges him!
His favorite animal is the cat - in all its forms. He loves lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, and of course - the house cat. Coen loves all animals and watches veterinary shows to learn about all different species of animal.
Hiking! Coen has hiked and participated in the Junior Ranger program at countless National Parks. From Utah to the Washington Capital - any time we are at a park he asks to complete the guides and get his badges. He spent 30 days on the road this past summer exploring with his grandparents and my dream is for him to continue in that passion!
