My son Christopher, aka King has a deep passion for exploration and a growing curiosity about understanding humans, animals, and nature.
Thank you for generously supporting Christopher in this year’s competition. Your participation helps empower the National Wildlife Federation in their mission to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and inspire the next generation of conservationists.
What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreNature makes you smarter through research and engagement with other the youth. Nature brings us to our senses it allows us to experience sensory awareness nature boost our creativity, provides inner peace, and makes us happy. Being in nature improves mental and emotional health. Humans are naturally drawn to mysteries because we’re innately curious beings with the insatiable urge to explore to solve problems to environmental crises.
Like the iguana species the Rhinoceros iguana is the most attractive to King because it’s a very rare species and they grow a horn from the top of their nose. Not quite understand how the horn is used during courtship non the less he thinks it is pretty cool. The rhinoceros iguana is the most endangered species of the iguana that is endemic to the Caribbean Island and its surrounding islands. Animals form an integral part of human life and are essential to the continual development to earth.
Created youth program where every child takes part in environment science systems theory, began to recognize the degradation of the environment and learn ecopsychology. Fun facts, Animal rescue help, Animal crossings setup, Endangered species education, DIY simple terrariums and give aways. We volunteer at our local Animal Welfare, the Wildlife Refuge, Galveston Beach Sea Turtle rescue, Galveston/Houston Animal Shelter and Stormwater Cleanup Division for the City and donate.
