What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreHe loves being outside, going on hikes, and exploring nature and the wildlife in their natural habitat. A year ago, he faced challenges with walking and venturing outdoors due to neuropathy in his leg and CRPS. After nearly two years of perseverance through therapy and surgeries, he has overcome those obstacles and can now thrive in the beauty of nature, just as he always dreamed.
He has a fascination with turtles and frogs that just won’t quit! For ages, he’s been on my case about getting one, even though our house is already bustling with four cats, a dog, and a fish. It’s hard to ignore his enthusiasm! He’s absolutely captivated by the incredible variety of species and colors frogs come in, and he thinks turtles are some of the coolest creatures around. Who can resist such passion for these amazing animals?
Hiking and exploring trails is a must! Spending time at kid-friendly playgrounds is always fun, and we regularly visit farms, zoos, and aquariums. Anything that involves animals and nature is right up his alley!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
