Learn moreCharlie loves trees. He enjoys touching their trunks to explore the textures of their bark, playing in their leaves or looking up into their canopy from laying underneath them. He touches them as if he’s communicating to them, I love you.
Charlie loves penguins and octopus’s. He enjoys the penguin’s waddles and giggles when he sees them waddling or dancing through the water or zipping up out of it onto land. He became fascinated with octopus from watching nature documentaries and Finding Dory, and was completely entranced by the octopus at the TN aquarium. He likes to say the word octopus and he says it very well which is a big deal for him, given he has a speech delay!
He loves to go to our farm and go on nature walks in the woods, explore and pick up sticks, rocks, acorns and other treasures he finds along the path to throw in the pod or keep as treasure. He also enjoys fishing, playing in any body of water, playing in a pile of fall leaves or relaxing in the hammock under a shady tree in the spring.
