What does Catherine love most about nature?

Catherine loves watching how nature changes through the seasons. Right now in the spring, lots of the animals are having babies, and a lot of of the plants are blooming. Since it’s getting warmer outside, Catherine can go down to the dock and throw her cast net in the water to see what she pulls up.

What is Catherine's favorite animal—and why?

Catherine’s favorite animal is the owl (no specific sub species). In addition to their beauty, she loves that they are agile hunters, and that she can hear their calls in the night while she is lying in bed.

What is Catherine's favorite outdoor activity?

Catherine loves to explore her home on Isle Of Hope, GA, the island that she lives on, which sits on the intracoastal waterway. She likes to go on hikes and nature walks with her friends and uses a magnifying glass to find bugs and critters and take pictures. For her eighth birthday, Catherine got a kayak, so that she can paddle the marsh near her house and document more wildlife.
