What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreIn his own words, Carter loves learning new things about species that frequent our area, exploring animal Habitats to explore thier natural environment, watching and learning natural behaviors. He enjoys learning about and foraging for wild edibles such as mushrooms, berries, and fruit. He has his very own bee hive to try to “save the bees”.
Honey bees, even though they’re an insect, it is because they play an important role in our lives. He is fascinated by the way a hive works together and pollinates all the plants. And they make delicious honey, the only food that never goes bad.
Cater enjoys tending to his bee hive, making sure they are happy and healthy. He also enjoys snorkeling in the gulf while scalloping to explore life on the ocean floor, from checking out starfish, to looking at different types or coral and sea sponges.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
