What does Carson love most about nature?

Carson love nature because it's wild—just like her! She enjoys catching butterflies, bird watching, splashing in muddy puddles, and especially flipping rocks, both in water and on land, in search of worms, cool bugs, crayfish, mud puppies, and SNAKES! Nature is full of surprises, and so is Carson.

What is Carson's favorite animal—and why?

Carson loves snakes! From the time she was about two years old, she has always been fascinated by snakes. She began watching YouTube videos and National Geographic segments about snakes and grew to love them. She says she would like to be a herpetologist when she grows up, as she has always had a desire to learn more and more about nature’s quiet helpers.

What is Carson's favorite outdoor activity?

Carson’s favorite outdoor activity is rock flipping. Big ones, little ones, muddy ones, mossy ones, in the creek, and in the woods-each one is a mystery waiting to be solved for Carson. Like she’s uncovering buried treasure, Carson is excited to find worms, crayfish, mud puppies, bugs, salamanders, and especially snakes!
