He also loves the sound of nature. This mostly includes the birds chatting with one another and the rustling of the trees in the wind.
Calvin’s favorite animal is a Rosy Boa. This sparked from the time in Sedona when he got to hold one himself! He enjoyed the smooth texture of his scales and loved that he was small enough to slither into his hoodie pocket. It is safe to say that little snake knew he had just became Cal’s favorite.
Calvin's favorite outdoor activity is taking a hike. He has hiked in all different places including Michigan, Tennessee, Arizona, Kentucky, and Indiana. During a hike Cal is on the look out for different types of snakes and a variety of animals. He also likes to listen to the sounds of the environment. One time he heard an Owl and decided to whoo whoo to try and communicate. The owl mimicked his sounds and they had a whole conversation!!
