Start Their Adventure“The animals because they are really cool, and can be cute all the way to ferocious! All species are unique and play a role in this world like rattle snakes and black rat snakes keep the mice population in check, while bees pollinate flowers. The variety in animal skills and adaptations are exciting to learn about, like how moles are blind but adapt by sense of vibrations and geckos can climb vertically. Every time I go out in nature, there are always new and interesting things to learn.” Callum
“It is really hard to choose just one animal, but if I had to choose - currently snakes are my favorite animal because first of they are really diverse and cool creatures that come in different species, colors and sizes. Some snakes can grow to be larger than an adult human and some can be tiny like the Barbados Thread snake - they grow to 4.1 inches and way 0.02 ounces. That’s just one example of the extreme differences between species.” Callum
“Fishing - the intensity, the unknown of what you’re catching, and then when you get a bite and the tug of the reel, then pulling in your catch and to finally see what’s on your line. Being able to see a small glimpse into the world of the ocean and seeing a wild fish up close before releasing them back into the water. The biggest fish I ever caught was a 40lb red rum and bluefish. My favorite catch was a small stingray which I caught on a charter boat in the outer banks.” Callum
