I love nature because it’s peaceful and beautiful. Watching sunsets is my favorite—they paint the sky with amazing colors and make me feel calm and happy. I take lots of pictures of sunsets and sunrises wherever I go, especially at the beach. Nature helps me relax and feel connected.
Emperor penguins are my favorite animal because they’re endangered and dangerously cute! I love how they live in the cold and waddle around. It makes me sad that climate change is hurting them, so I want to help protect them.
My favorite outdoor activity is geocaching. I go hiking with my dad, and we do something called “Cache In, Trash Out.” We look for hidden geocaches and pick up trash along the way. It’s like a treasure hunt and helping the Earth at the same time—it’s so much fun!
