Receive Text UpdatesBrecken is absolutely fascinated with every aspect of nature from flowers to trees to every single insect, reptile and mammal. Science is favorite subject and he loves to learn about different environments and how each life cycle works. He loves to explore new areas to look for fossils and wildlife. He is an old soul and I truly believe he has a rare connection with nature. He firmly believes that every plant, insect and animal has the right to live and should be respected.
Oh man, this was the toughest question for him to answer. After much thought he settled with the Crow. He is amazed by their intelligence. He loves that they have the ability to make and use tools from things found in nature. He also thinks that it’s very cool that they can recognize human faces. He is an avid bird watcher and is constantly feeding the birds at our house in hopes of having a crow begin to recognize him and decide to make our backyard his home!
Brecken would live outside if he could. He loves to camp and hike. One of his favorite outdoor activities is crawfish hunting. Most weekends we go to a local creek and spending hours catching and collecting crawfish. He places them in a holder and then releases them one by one while we take a video of his catch. He typically catches between 20-70 crawfish. On our most recent trips several of the females had eggs so he was super excited to finally see the entire life cycle!
