What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreBrant loves how every part of nature connects-from tiny fungi and ants to water, air, and mighty predators. As the ultimate observer, he delights in studying animal tracks and bird calls. Nature is his sanctuary, a place where he recharges and finds balance, deeply fascinated by the intricate web of life and the harmony within ecosystems.
Brant’s favorite animal is the Arctic fox. He admires how they camouflage by changing their fur color seasonally-white in winter and brown in summer-to blend perfectly with their environment. He’s fascinated by their hunting skills, especially their exceptional hearing that helps locate prey beneath the snow. Brant finds their unique "mousing" technique impressive, where they leap and dive headfirst into the snow to catch their prey.
Brant’s favorite outdoor activity is watching animals in their natural habitat. He enjoys visiting new places to see wildlife he hasn’t encountered before. One of his most memorable experiences was observing African painted dogs in the wild during a trip to Africa. This passion for wildlife brings him joy and a deep connection to nature, making every adventure exciting and meaningful.
