We live near the Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge and Picayune Strand State Forest so our yard is full of native and exotic life that we love to identify and learn about.
Even with all the types of plants and animals we have near our home, Bonnie’s favorite animal is her pet cat, Mel! Mel came to us from the woods right by our house as a blue eyed little kitten when Bonnie was 1 year old. They are best friends!
Well, besides riding her scooter and skateboarding with Daddy she loves to help tend to our vegetable garden and native Florida plants while identifying the creatures that interact with the plants and soil to keep our garden and yard healthy and thriving.
