Receive Text UpdatesNature gives Bodhi the space to explore without limits. With sensory processing disorder, he finds comfort in the sounds, textures, and surprises the wild brings—sparkly rocks, buzzing bugs, and hidden tracks. It’s where his senses come alive in the best way and his imagination takes the lead.
Bodhi’s favorite animal is his pink toe tarantula, Fred. He’s drawn to how gentle, quiet, and misunderstood spiders are—just like he sometimes feels with SPD. He says Fred is soft, calm, and “like a tiny ninja that hides in the leaves.” Their quiet nature helps him feel seen and connected.
Bodhi’s favorite thing is rock hunting near rivers. The textures, the cold splash of water, the sparkle of “crystals”—it’s sensory joy. He imagines he’s on a treasure hunt in a secret forest. Nature play helps him regulate and feel free, turning every adventure into a story worth telling.
