His favorite animal is the alligator snapping turtle. He loves how they are prehistoric and loves their worm like tongue they use to catch fish. Where we live he’s had the chance to snorkel with them in clear ozark streams on a few occasions.
He loves field herping. We travel all over the US to different reptiles and amphibians. He’s found invasive Burmese pythons in the Everglades and state endangered chicken turtles in Missouri. He’s currently working on seeing every native species of snake in his home state of Missouri.
