Bentlee loves discovering nature’s smallest wonders - bugs, snakes, frogs, and fish. He enjoys catching and safely releasing baby animals and caterpillars, watching them grow. Playing in rain, mud, and creeks brings him joy, along with skipping smooth rocks and finding animal tracks. Sitting by a bonfire listening to owls, and bringing wildflowers to his mom for a forehead kiss make his nature adventures special.
Bentlee’s favorite animal is the Woolly Bear Caterpillar because it’s super fuzzy and fun to hold. He loves catching them & watching them change into Isabella Tiger Moths - a yellow-orange moth with black spots. Seeing this transformation makes nature feel magical and exciting to him.
Bentlee’s favorite outdoor activity is camping at Land Between the Lakes with his dad and his buddies. He loves fishing in Kentucky Lake, building a fire, exploring the woods, hanging out in the hammock, and sleeping in the tent. It’s his favorite way to be outside, learn new things, and make memories.
