She loves the outdoors & animals. We hike, bike, float, camp etc. She can recognize elk, deer, bear, hawks, eagles, and more.

What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreHer favorite thing about nature is how quiet it is. We love to climb on the rocks near our house to see the land around us, take in the breathtaking mountain views, and sit and connect.
Dogs is the easy answer. She got one for Christmas, a Boston Terrier. But when it comes to nature, it's elk. She is great at spotting them in fields or timber, and since elk live around our house, we have had the opportunity to see them very close. She's always amazed by how big they actually are.
Mountain bike riding. At 6 years old, we did a 5mi mountain bike ride on a single-track trail called Strawberry Creek outside of Helena MT. We stopped to enjoy the forest, the creek, the rocks, and have snacks (of course). She was a trooper. It took us 3 hours to finish the ride. She wants to do it again this year and is hoping to see more wildlife on our journey.
