Receive Text UpdatesAvery loves learning how all the plants, animals, and insects have special abilities to survive. For example, chameleons use camouflage, cheetahs run really fast to catch prey, and giraffes are really tall to reach tall trees for their leaves.
Avery's favorite animal is cats because they are very curious and playful. Cats can be small and be pets or they can be big like tigers and lions-she thinks that is really cool! She especially loves kittens because they are so cute.
Avery loves exploring and observing the nature in our backyard. We see cats, raccoons, squirrels, blue jays, woodpeckers, cardinals, hawks, mice, opossums, bats, love bugs, lady bugs, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, and grasshoppers-we have a whole ecosystem in the backyard! She likes to birdwatch and try to have dragonflies land on her hand.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
