Aven is relentlessly curious. He loves to learn everything he can about the plants and animals living around him and share that with others.

What Aven loves most about nature is that it is beautiful, peaceful, and full of interesting creatures.
Aven’s favorite animal is the platypus because they are super cool and unique; they are the only mammal that lay eggs!
Aven’s favorite outdoor activity is to venture to the river or the creek. There at the water’s edge, he likes to lift up rocks in search of crawdads and caddisfly larva, try and catch water skippers, and admire the moss clinging to boulders and branches. Sometimes he’s inspired to build tiny houses for the forest spirits.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
