What does Ava love most about nature?

Ava likes seeing animals and bugs along the way. She likes collecting heart rocks for her sister who passed away as an infant. She climbs waterfalls and mountains with her mom and brothers. Going for a dip in them as well in the summer months. She also loves finding sunsets and usually refers to all the colours as the Northern Lights. She loves digging in the dirt and building sand castles. She is a pro at finding crabs and shells at the beach and loves petting their shells.

What is Ava's favorite animal—and why?

Ava loves looking for moose while out on hikes. She tries and makes moose calls and searches all the woods along the trail. While we've never had a chance to see one yet in the wild we do come across moose droppings frequently or hoof prints in the mud. They are so big and fun to measure against our hands. We often bring her moose stuffed animals on our adventures. Ava also loves listening for wood peckers and finding their holes in the trees. She looks for them often.

What is Ava's favorite outdoor activity?

Ava likes camping. She likes having campfires and especially loves pancakes in the morning. Her favourite place is the roof top tent and she even spends time at home in the driveway just hanging out between adventures. She collects rocks, and pinecones and acorns in her buckets. She wants to go exploring and camping any free time we get and even loves finding waterfalls and jumping in puddles in the rain. She always stops to talk to any hiker and tell them theyre doing a good job along the way.
