What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreAugust loves figuring out how animals live, how plants grow, and how nature connects. He wants to see it, touch it, and explore it all. He loves being outside no matter the weather. Nature doesn’t have limits and outside, he feels free, curious, and completely himself.
August has loved horses from the moment he could express it, though we don’t really know why. From songs, videos, stuffed animals to the real thing, he just lights up around them! He loves brushing them, feeding them carrots, and riding them! August also loves all birds. Right now, he’s fascinated by the three baby chicks we just hatched. He has a love for “ocean friends” too, especially octopuses and lobsters. To August, animals are special friends who bring joy and wonder to his world.
August says “I need to live outside!” He loves all and any activity outside. He enjoys walks, viewing waterfalls, fountains, statues, and things neighbors have outside. He loves yard-work & playing in dirt, mud, and sand. He notices every color and sound and smiles at it all. He also enjoys laying under a tree, watching everything above him & soaking it all in! He truly sees the beauty in everything in nature!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
