What does Audrey love most about nature?

Audrey enjoys hiking in our National Parks and walking along beaches making special memories along the way. She’s never afraid to dip her toes in a creek or leave messages in the dirt. One of her favorite parts of the outdoors is finding special rocks and making cairns to leave behind in memory of her twin brother. Audrey has dipped her feet in all the Great Lakes, the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, and the Caribbean. Audrey is a steward to the outdoors and has many more adventures ahead of her.

What is Audrey's favorite animal—and why?

Audrey loves all creatures great and small. Audrey may tell you about raising monarch butterflies at home. Or the time we saw a bear in RMNP. She’s learned a new appreciation for more “scary” species at Snake Discovery and all about Giant octopuses from a school project. But she will never forget the time a Tiger and she were sitting in a the same jeep separated by glass at a children’s zoo. At the end of the day, she is unconditionally loved by her golden retriever and calico cat.

What is Audrey's favorite outdoor activity?

Audrey loves being close to any body of water, oceans, lakes, rivers, or anything with a beach. If there are waves and sand, she could be mistaken for a mermaid. Audrey thrives when she’s with friends outdoors. She’s notoriously made random friends at the beach building sandcastles. She can also be found on a paddleboard during the summer.
