He loves rock climbing, casting a line while fishing, and looking for cool rocks and crystals. He is fascinated by ecosystems, how animals live and survive. He enjoys growing plants and food. Farming is in his DNA. Atticus has an innate curiosity- the kind you don't have to teach. Nature gives him the engine, and nurture gives him the drive.
Atticus Oak's favorite animal is the axolotl. They can regrow limbs, tails, spines, and even parts of their heart and brain. They also stay babies forever, keeping their larval features. Axolotls can breathe through their gills, lungs, and skin! They come in wild colors, and some even glow under UV light. Atticus has always appreciated anything rare, and axolotls are endangered in their natural lake habitat in Mexico, making them a rare species.
Atticus Oak was born with a wild soul, naturally drawn to nature and anything outdoors. He likes collecting rocks that look cool and loves looking for crystals on every adventure. Now in remission from cancer, Atticus can do more of the activities he enjoys, like rock climbing, biking, archery, and kayaking. The world needs kids who can face storms with muddy boots, open hearts, and unbreakable spirits. That is Atticus Oak!
