Athena’s favorite animals are sea turtles and monarch butterflies because they make incredible journeys guided by nature. She’s fascinated that sea turtles follow the moon and stars across oceans, while monarchs use the sun to travel thousands of miles. These animals inspire her love for astronomy and her dream to explore the forces that guide both wildlife and the universe.
Athena’s favorite outdoor activity is stargazing with her telescope. She asked for it at Christmas and learned to use it, even capturing her first photo of the moon! She loves pairing her stargazing sessions with roasting marshmallows by the fire, making the most of the nighttime sky and its quiet magical.
