Learn moreFor Asher, nature isn’t just a place. The outdoors are his playground, his lab, and his stage! Nature, for Ashy, is alive with possibilities. Whether he’s birdwatching at our window feeder, romping through our backyard creek, or digging for treasures in our dirt pile (they found an arrowhead last year!), Asher is in his element. He’s got the heart of a biologist and the flair of a comedian. Don’t be surprised if you see him imitating his favorite animal on his future YouTube channel!
Asher’s favorite animal is the dog, because they're loyal and loving (he misses our dog, Arnie, that passed away a few years ago). But his favorite wild animal? The capybara! He says it’s “really cute and really chill,” and he loves how they get along with just about every other animal. Whether a rambunctious pup or a laid-back capybara, Asher connects most with creatures that are kind, curious, and just as adventurous as he!
Asher’s favorite outdoor activity depends on the day. Sometimes his fave activity is hiking with his adventure gear on, sometimes it’s magnet fishing to see what hidden treasures he can pull up in our creek, and sometimes it’s splashing through the marshy woodland behind our house hunting for salamanders and frogs. If it’s muddy, wild, and full of surprises, Asher’s there with a smile, a story, and a camera!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
