Receive Text UpdatesHe loves the cycles of nature – how the trees change and come back to life in the spring; the deer drop their antlers and they grow back each year; the birds migrate and they know where to go to and where to return to. He loves how much life there is within just a small area of land. Small twigs survive the winter and continue to grow each year. He also loves how little birds start out so tiny and ugly and then grow into beautiful birds.
His favorite animal is the peregrine falcon. He loves how they are so pretty – their dark head, slate gray back and white breast with black speckles. He thinks they are amazing; they are by far the fastest animal in the world. He also likes their role in life – their diet of small animals helps to keep the population of small animals in check, which helps to keep the habitat healthy.
He loves a lot of outdoor activities and spends most of his time outdoors hunting, fishing, herping, hiking, camping, and birdwatching. His favorite depends on the time of year, but birdwatching is probably his overall favorite because he can do it all year round, followed closely by hunting, fishing, and herping. As you can see, he struggles to choose a favorite since he loves it all!
