What is Jr. Ranger?
Learn moreOn hikes, Ari loves seeing new things, like insects, animals, rock structures, and trees. When we camp in national parks, she loves the ranger talks, visitor centers, and cultural displays because she always learns something new. She loves to splash around in lakes, creeks, and rivers. She loves to tell stories around a campfire. She loves to learn about space and the stars and loves the constellations and the different stories associated with different cultures.
Ari's favorite animal is any type of cat. She grew up with a cat until our cat past away a few years ago. When we go on walks around the neighborhood, we love to find and try to say hi to the community cats. She likes that they are good hunters. She thinks its cool how flexible they are. She thinks that they are beautiful.
Ari's favorite outdoor activity is swimming. She loves the pool, ocean, lakes, and water parks. She likes how the water feels on her skin on a hot day and being cooled down. She likes to play games in the water. She likes to be on a kayak and SUP even though she has only done it a few times.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
