Start Their Adventure"I enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. When I am out in nature I feel calm and happy. I definitely feel different in nature than other places. I feel like I am a part of it. I always feel a little overwhelmed and sometimes stressed out when I am in crowded places, big cities or just super busy. The sounds of nature calm me. Observing nature calms me. I think nature does this for most people too and that's one of the big reasons we need to protect natural spaces." says Archer.
Archer says, "Wolverines are my favorite animal. They are tough and can take on a grizzly bear. They're hard to find and I feel like they represent me. I am pretty tough. I know what to do if a grizzly is charging me, get in a ball and put your back up, hands over your neck and if you have backpack, make sure it's between you and the bear. That being said, I probably couldn't TAKE ON a grizzly. I enjoy quietly blending in with nature so I can observe it just like the wolverine does."
"One of my favorite outdoor activities is fishing. Fish are prehistoric and slimy. That's pretty cool and fun. I also worked hard to get my Oklahoma Hunter Safety certification and have a lifetime hunting and fishing license. I enjoy responsible hunting with my grandpa in SE Oklahoma. I consider myself an excellent Bird Nerd. I know bird calls and many species. I like to identify the calls for my family when we are out exploring. I love camping, hiking and visiting National Parks." - Archer
