Learn moreAnnika loves the unknown aspects to nature. Her inquisitive spirit inspires her to use all of her senses to explore the world around her. She challenges those around her to see the little things and microhabitats that others overlook. Annika does not let any weather hold her back. She loves that nature can be explored in the snow, wind, rain, and sunshine. Since she is always prepared to go outdoors, she has seen how habitats can change throughout the seasons.
This answer changes frequently. It started with a giraffe and evolved into everything from spiders to wolves. Annika’s current favorite animal is a goat. Since we live in a rural area in the Midwest she gets to see a lot of goats and interact with them. There is one mischievous goat in particular at her favorite apple orchard that she finds hilarious.
Annika’s favorite outdoor activity is splashing in puddles. It could be a puddle scattered with fallen leaves in the autumn. It could be an extremely muddy puddle in the middle of a tulip field in the spring. It could be a winter puddle from a freshly melted snowman. She knows that as long as she has the right gear she can splash in all the puddles.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Jr. Ranger, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
